Katam Drainage was engaged by local council to install a Quicklock Flex into a stormwater pipe that had been displaced due to ground movement.
Project Description
Excavation would have taken a lot longer and cost much more than the installation of this stainless steel expandable band, suitable for up to 20mm displacements.
Quicklock Flex can be used to correct offsets and / or axial bending. Due to the use of corrugated steel in connection with two Quick-Lock sleeves and the EPDM rubber, a positive connection with the pipe wall is possible.
